There were things I really liked about this book and some things that I was meh...on. The meh was Sarah and Roland, they were just a little too perfect especially with how they acted towards each other, there wasn't any conflict with them at all, or maybe I should say it is a token one.

I did love how Sarah turned the Immortal world on their heads, Seth calling before he pops in, taking down people as a human, and taming the recluse. I did like Roland too, his arrogant behavior changed to only slightly snarky over the course of the book.

The whole Immortals fascinated me. I wanted to know more about them, especially Seth. He is hiding a lot and it is driving me nuts. The other Immortals were fun too, Marcus and his teasing of Roland, David and Darnell with their gentleness. I can't wait to learn more about the mystery woman, there is going to be a great story there.

I look forward to reading the next one!
