This book kills me--it's perfect. How everything comes together at the end, how incidents from previous years suddenly make sense, how love finally triumphs over evil--it's like there is no other way this amazing series could have ended. Even in re-reading it, I find it VERY difficult to put down. Sure, magic is a context some people may not agree with, but then, so are vampires and werewolves and anything supernatural. The story is about love--not the sappy, slobbery kind, but the unselfish and generous type, about those who are willing to sacrifice themselves on behalf of others. There are reasons why the world loves Harry Potter: despite his flaws and fears, he does what he knows is right, and he does it because of love.
