really liked it

A man was forced to give away his first child to a sorceress to save his wife. The sorceress named the girl Rapunzel, cared for her, then locked her in a tower at the age of 12. The sorceress would visit her in the day time and Rapuzel would let down her hair so the sorceress could enter the tower. One day a prince heard a girl singing and had to see what she looked like. He fell in love with her voice. He watched at the sorceress called to Rapunzel and called to her one day. They fell in love and she got pregnant. The sorceress sent the girl into the wilderness and the prince wandered into the wildernesss, without sight, a year later. He heard her voice and found her with their two children. He gained his eye sight back and they went back to their kingdom where they lived happily ever after. Its a classic story that has been retold many different ways. I love reading the different versions of fairy tales and its great for making different anchor charts and leading class discussions
