it was amazing
Read in October, 2009

By the time we read this book last year in class, I had already read it some time ago. The thing was that I didn't remember or better, didn't quite analyze the brutality of the story. This has been a very controversial book since it was published for the raw content it had, and I really can't deny it was brutal. What I would argue is the prohibition of it, it tells a very true story and it tells it without exaggerating. The main character and center of the story is Jerry Renault, a very average guy, few friends and only one parent. The whole conflict of the story is what happens when someone disturbs the universe, and basically the plot serves as the answer for the question. This book brings up a rare question and answers it in a very real and brutal way, that is why this is a good book.
