This is a mystery, but a rather light one. Think Sophie Kinsella-type chick-lit meets mystery.

It was a cute, funny, interesting read, but nothing that rocked my world. Since it was published in 1994, there are parts that are awfully dated, but in a way you'd expect for that time. Like the way the protagonist uses a car phone from time-to-time. :-)

Overall a good time, though. Good enough that I purchased book #2 in the series yesterday.
