** spoiler alert ** I really loved this book. I had been in a slump trying to find a book I could get into, so I knew that if I picked up a KH it would help. And did it ever! The book was sweet, and sad, and the characters were so likable! I felt like I could relate to these women. Being a mom of a toddler, I felt the pain that Angie had at the thought of losing my girl, and the desperation and fear of what it might have been like had I had my baby ten years earlier, like Lauren. I really enjoyed David and Conlan as well. Two men trying to handle the wanting and not wanting of a baby, it's not something that is often thought about, the father, in these situations. If you're a mom or a daughter, and want a book to connect with, (have a box of kleenex handy, btw!) this is a book for you.
