This is the first in a series called the Seaside Knitters Mysteries. Summer is coming to the small MA town and Izzy is getting ready for the customers who will be coming to her shop. Izzy spent many summers here growing up and as a adult has decided that this is the place to make her home. Angie, a native of the town, has also returned home and is presently renting the apartment that Izzy has above her knit shop. Angie seems to be a "problem child" but Izzy is glad to have her renting the apartment for the months that she will be in town working on a project for the historical society. When her friend, Cass pulls up more than lobsters from her lobster trap the town in full of unease. Although the police are writing off the death as a murder by someone passing through, the ladies of the knitting club are not so sure and start asking their own questions. The book was a fun, fast read and I look forward to reading the next one in the series. It wasn't until near the end of the book that I was able to start fitting the pieces together. I thought that it was well done and the suspense was maintained.
