** spoiler alert ** After hearing my friends rave about this book, I guess I expected something more. I was slightly disappointed with the characters and the writing. I never did connect with Sara. She was too rich, too perfect, too poised for me to get to close to her. She irritated me. I also got sick of hearing how she could pull off every outfit that mere mortals usually only wear when they don't care how they look. Honestly.
Dave was good, and I was excited to hear that he is in the next book.
Adam was slightly better than Sara, but still not that great. He moved way to fast.
I also didn't like how they both flirted shamelessly with each other on their first date. Sara knew that she was going to have to end it after that, so why did she lead him on? The lame excuses offered didn't exactly cut it.
If you want a real thriller about FBI protection read "Don't Look Behind You" by Lois Duncan. At least her characters are down to earth and make mistakes.
