bookshelves: self-confidence, first-day-of-school

The Dot is a heartwarming story that boosts children's self confidence. The little girl feels like she cannot draw, and draws a tiny dot on her paper. Her teacher makes a very big deal about her dot, and frames it on the wall. This opens up a whole new artistic world to her, and she blossoms into a talented artist.
