This book got a bad review from PW but I really enjoyed it. It was short and sweet and the plot wasn't that bad. Politics, corruption, and violence all come together in a bombing investigation that morphs into a murderathon. We meet a competent detective, Tammy, who has his chief's ear and quickly proceeds to embarass his boss by his aggressiveness in investigating every lead. Tammy doesn't know when to stop and seems always one step behind the murderers. It was nice also to read a book about Africa written by an African and surprising it wasn't set in the capital, Lagos, but in Port Harcourt-http://maps.google.com/maps?q=port+ha....

Looking forward to the next one from Ibe. Hoping Tammy will be promoted for his performance.
