I am thoroughly enjoying listening to this audio version of The Measure of a Man by Sidney Poitier. I think it is a fascinating story of his life, his vision, his ideals, and more. I am listening to and from work on my 45 minute commute each day, and when, one day, my husband was in the car with me, I kept it in and later that evening overheard him talking about it with one of his friends. He was impressed by what he had heard and was compelled to share it. I do recommend this, and think that it should be a must for children from middle school on up to "hear". As no one can tell this story better than Sidney Poitier. I also think we need more people like Sidney in this world. He is not perfect, none of us are, but he is a role model for all role models.
