it was amazing

This is a well-written, well-researched book on the Last Liberal Lion.

A paradox, or just a flawed man? Darrow is an amazing character, and if his life was written as fiction, it would be be considered unbelievable. At 67 years old, Darrow took on capital punishment, fundamentalism and racism. 3 landmark cases in 18 months. And he won.

Will we ever see a man, or woman, like this again?
