Read from February 10 to 20, 2011

The story is told from the veiwpoint of Marion, a twin born in Ethiopia in 1954 to a nun who dies in childbirth. The twins are adopted by doctors at "Missing", the mission hospital. It is a complex story of Shiva and Marion, their extended family, closeness, separation, wounding, healing, and coincidence. The characters are vivid. I spent every available minute reading this book. It is well-paced and held my interest to the end.
