I think I'm about over the series. Which is sad because the men are delicious...but it's just so repetitive. I actually skimmed over a lot of the book, just stopping to read the sexy parts. The "action/suspense" part of the book is the same formula as the first four, so that made it extremely tedious. But I'm usually willing to overlook that for a hot, sweet romance, but that wasn't here either.

Rogue promised to be a fun, sassy character, which are my favorite kind. Instead she was just hot and cold and pissed and all over the place that I found myself annoyed. Then Zeke was supposedly the bad boy who had a dark side when it came to his sex....but it wasn't even dark. It wasn't even dark for this series...and it ended up being weird and coming off flat. I was expecting some serious BDSM or something the way he alluded to his dark sexual side, but he tied her up once and never spanked her. Which is fine, I don't need BDSM in my books, but if you promise a dark side, give us a dark side! Or it just seems fake and weird.

So I'm putting this series on hold and not sure I'll return. Maybe I will in a year when I've forgotten about the repetitive mystery plot?
