Lots of character growth in this one. The mystery portion was sort of meh, but that isn't why I read these books. I read these because Eve kicks ass, Roarke is too perfect, Peabody has the best lines, and the rest of the cast of characters are fun to spend time with.
In this one we get to meet Peabody's parents. I wish there would have been a bit more with them. I'm sure they'll be back at some point.
