My 3rd Daniel Silva novel featuring Gabriel Allon, the Israeli intelligence officer/assassin. This one finds Gabriel pulled back into The Office to track down the terrorists who bombed the Israeli Embassy in Rome. Silva does his usual masterful job interweaving facts and actual events with the story line, making the read both educational and an on-the-edge suspense thriller. A recommended read. However, the person who first suggested I read Silva told me to go back and start at the beginning of the series--I didn't, and I should have taken the advice. It would have helped me piece together the history of Gabriel and why he reacts to situations the way he does. This one is the 5th in the series.
