While not a bad book, I was expecting great things from the spinoff of Heaven Sent. My issue is not with the characters or the writing, I think it's that we spend more time with indigo Knights and less time in the actual love story. Just not used to that sort of thing from Mykles. A perfectly enjoyable book and it's great seeing the little bit of Brent and Hell. I kept searching for Johnnie and Luc, but that's my own personal thing.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Is there a HEA in this book?

Naoms oh yea.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Awesome, thanks!!! I have to have my HEA! LOL

Naoms Totally, it was just weird, how much of the book is setting up the series, as opposed to the love story. In heaven sent, the group is already formed and successful, so there's no real reason to focus on them. Though I wish we could have seen more of the band in the first two books.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Ah, it suffers from a case of the FITS then. First In The Series? The world building and character introduction can suck the life right out of what might otherwise be a wonderful book.
