I won this book on goodreads. I have mixed feelings about this one. I have a hard enjoying books when I don't like the main character. It was the case here. I couldn't decide if she was just crazy or totally selfish. She wasn't doing it as a favour for her friends, she was doing it as a favour for her. She doesn't want to be in pain to see her friends grow old and sick. She doesn't want to feel like she did during the 3 months agony of her mother. So let's kill my close friends so I won't have to feel that pain again... Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it's how I felt like reading. And for someone who thinks she is so nice to her friends, she did say a lot of mean things to them.

But even though all this, I like the book. The idea in itself wasn't bad. I wish though I could have had more background on the characters.

Last point, how sad the copy I got has not that beautiful cover...
