Don't get me wrong, i really love these books. But if theres one thing i learned it's that theres never a moments rest in morganville. I love the action and drama of the book, but it's not like one big problem per book, it's like a bunch of big problems made little, and they get overpowered by some bigger problem. the conflicts in the book didn't flow together, it was more like, one problem after another all linked by a bigger problem.
And i know that most people don't like reading about protagonists like claire, they usually anny most people, but i find her funny, smart, and quite daring. i like her.
And, i rEEEEally like myrnin, he's so funny, and crazy, and smart, and even though he's tried to kill her and poison her multiple times, i think it's part of the disease and he really cares about having a student, even though he knows that amelie just sent the apprentices their to be killed.
Meanwhile, it's like, i love the teen romance thing and all, but i just don't get it with claire and shane, i just dont. they have a really hard relationship to understand if you ask me.
that being said, i love the morganville vampire novels, but this book was lukewarm. so i gave it 3 stars.
