Satan Wants Me
by Robert Irwin
by Robert Irwin
Missing perhaps some of the emotional resonance of "Exquisite Corpse" still a wonderfully entertaining and intelligent read. And what's not to like? An epistolary novel in 1967 London full of Crowleyanism, LSD, hashish, speed, sociology, love, sex, madness & music written with Irwin's usual wit and, underneath it all, love. A swan-song for an epoch.
