Was the pretty bow ending a cop out? You could argue it. Did it make me feel better though?? Sure enough... so I can't really complain. Hosseini is a gifted storyteller who shows the western world the view behind the burqua. Eyeopening and painful at times, this book also is hopeful in its own way. I had to eat chocolate after this book. Must start reading more feel-good books.......
