Flavia is at it again, and it was a true delight to follow her through this mystery. The constant battle with her sisters, the desire for her murder solving skills to be recognized and appreciated by Inspector Hewitt, and her grief over the mother she's never known, are some of the continuing threads of Flavia's personal story that allowed me more of an insight into her character. This along with her brilliant mind and ability to solve the mystery kept me reading long after I should have put the book down to go to bed.
