This was a free Kindle book, which is what drew me to it, but the plot sounded pretty good, as well. The writing is a little confusing initially, as it bounces back and forth between several characters whose names I couldn't remember, so I did a lot of scrolling back to remind myself of who was who. I learned some new words, too, which I found surprising. I was thankful for the ability to look words up on the fly with the Kindle. The author kept my interest through most of the book, though the beginning is a little slow. I enjoyed the story overall and I was satisfied with the ending.

I would have been pleased with this book had I had to pay for it, so I am even more so for having been able to download it for free!
