I think I enjoyed this more than the previous installments though it is hard to pinpoint why. This series doesn't really get me as excited as some others and I think that's because it's not as well balanced as some others. The characters are dark, their lives are violent and sad and the setting is depressing. I don't fault the author for this presentation but sometimes I wish there were just a few more lighter or humorous moments. It would really round out the story for me.
