The story is deep and without a doubt the most interesting of all. The reason is both clear and simple. The critics who hated it had the same reasons as the ones who loved it. Also in the war no one except Yossarian seems to know what's going on. It sure is sad being lied and deceived to. I sure felt bad that he sees friends die and go in front of his eyes but it's wrong to want to become imortal. Everyone is afraid of dieing but you do what you have to do and do let anyone boss you around it's your, life your choice.
