really liked it
bookshelves: guilty-pleasures

This book is one of the ONLY romance novels that I'd classify along the lines of trash novel that I liked. Actually, it is the only one I got past the first chapter of.

The book starts better than it ends. The tension built by the history and the main character's posing as a boy offers an amusing and stimulating story long before it ever devolves into romance of the traditional sort. It gets pretty girly in the end... which I could do without.
