Unicorns? Seriously Maberry? You killed the whole idea for me. I was with you through the genetically mutated virus. I can even get behind the idea of super-soldiers after the zombies from the first book. But I can't get behind the development of unicorns. Sorry, man.

To be fair, I tried reading past that part. But it just kept nagging me what a poor idea it was. Original, certainly. But did I think it fit in the story. No. And it killed the story enough for me to stop reading. Now I'll never know if that unicorn thing was going to work, because it was sprung on me way too early.
