When her babysitters can't come in to watch her, Junie B. Jones is invited to come with her father to the barber shop. While their there, Junie sees how interesting and fun it is to cut and shave heads so she gets an interest in barbatry. Junie's Father insists cutting hair is not a good hobby for his daughter but she has already got her mind set. Junie B. goes behind her parents back and practices her hair cutting in her room. but since she has no male friend's heads that she can cut what better person for the job than her. So she gets to work. Even though she doesn't know what big mistake she's gotten herself into, Junie B. realizes it too late and starts to cut her hair. Even though she only did about three snips it's far too noticeable and gets busted. Maybe if she would have cut the back instead of the dead front she would have gotten away with it. but nevertheless she still did it.
