As a favor to his brother, Isaiah Striker ventures to Chicago to collect his new sister-in-law’s possessions and bring them back home to North Carolina. It’s the last place on earth he wants to be, preferring the openness and freedom of the woods and it’s certainly the last place he expects to find his mate.

Meredith is the mother of two (Benjamin and Michael- two very grown, very protective shifters) and the adopted mother of a handful of half-breeds. There’s nothing more important to her than protecting her pack and with werewolf hunters lurking all over town and weres themselves that would attack a half-breed just for existing, there’s plenty to protect them from.

The passion comes swift and explosive but, much like the first book, there’s more to the story than two people finding love. The supporting characters have their own place in the spotlight.

Joshua makes a cameo and the stage is set for the continuation of the series. The tease of Quinn's story alone will make you want to come back for more. If the hot, wicked smut doesn't do it for ya.
