it was amazing
bookshelves: 20th-century, cookbooks, france, keepers, non-fiction
Read in August, 2009 — I own a copy

A wonderful, delightful look at Julia Child's life in France as a newlywed, learning how to cook, and the collabration that would lead to Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Smart, sensitive and funny. But also a look at the McCarthy years -- devastating!
