I always really like these books and even though this technically starts a new series, there is enough crossover and similarities to still make it feel like a continuation of the Heave Sent Series.

Rabin Knight, who we met in Genesis is hoping to start a new band with his best friend and former band mate, Zane. Rabin's former band was a one hit wonder and now he is trying to be truer to his music and create a new sound for his group. Brent Rose, from Heaven Sent is offering his help and that's how Rabin finds himself in Chicago. Brent's cousin, Izzy is also staying with them. Brent's cousin Izzy is 22, gay, newly out, in school to be a chef and staying with Brent & Hell to escape a bad situation at home. He's also a relentless flirt. Oh did I mention the upon arrival in Chicago Rabin has a little anxiety because he's a recovering homophobe and his best friend, the one who will be joining him to work on the album is still a homophobe? Well, they are. Anyway, Rabin now has to figure out a lot of things. Where he wants his music to take him, what to do about Zane, and how he feels about Izzy.

I liked Izzy and the story and Rabin, I just feel like everything happen too fast to be believable, but it is a romance story so...

Looking forward to the next one!
