Talon has lived under the surface of New York City for all of his life. He was raised with the pride and dignity of being a Downsider- one who is priviliged and untainted by the world above, and who is safe from so-called mallice of the sun. And yet, he is curious about the world above him. When he meets Lindsey, little does he know that everything is about to fall to pieces, and that he will learn startling truths about the history and doctrines of the Downsiders that he follows.
A quick read and an interesting concept. This book was cute. I like how the author didn't go in for a typical happy ending, and yet, it was perfectly satisfying.
