Hayden and Nick are ex's with a past- one that includes a very messy and public break up. Four years and a million snarky flirtatious lines later, Hayden is still crushing on the boy who broke her heart. Yet when he declares that he could out board her she can't back down and the two of them agree to a comp that sparks a boy vs girl snowboarding sensation. However, with a crippling fear of heights and a mistrust for the boy whom she adores yet broke her heart, Hayden just seems to be headed for a major biff. Will love concur all on the slops or fizzle out due to the cold?

What a fun read! Echols's is a smart writer, turning a simple seemingly cheesy romance into a character driven love story about two teens dealing with the growing pains of getting older, facing your fears, and forgiving. Hayden is sweet, feisty, and flat out lovely. While, Nick is dreamy, sofa king funny, and smexy as hell. Their friends are great and add so much to the story. Plus, the setting is fantastic! As someone who is terrified of skiing and snowboarding yet loves to watch it I enjoyed getting a little look into this world.

Overall, a fantastic read! I am definitely becoming a very devoted fan of Jennifer Echols's novels!
