it was amazing
bookshelves: anarchism, activism, economics, philosophy, labor

Another amazing work about anarcho-syndicalism and the potential for the means of production to be harnessed by working people in federated alliances with other worker owned businesses. Rocker examines the workers' collectives during the Spanish Revolution of the 1930s as empirical evidence to support his argument that the "principles of Federalism, on free combination from below upward, putting the right of self-determination of every member above everything else and recognizing only the organic agreement of all on the basis of like interests and common convictions" was and will be re-attained. Another classic anarchist text on economics and class struggle within the capitalist system.
