Valley of Silence (Circle Trilogy #3)
by Nora Roberts
by Nora Roberts
I caught on that each book was in the view point of a different couple! The last one ended with Cian and Moira and boy they were hot and heavy! Ha! I liked this one the best out of the trilogy.
There was more action and the storyline flew! I was a little confused why Roberts made the first 2 troops go out by themselves instead of using Larkin in his dragon form to watch over them but then the following sequence of events probably wouldn't have happened!
I was happy that Davey got KO'd, he was a mean vampire child, and I felt that the fight between Lilith and Cian/Moira was a little watered down. The fight for mankind was finished in (at my reading pace) 5 minutes!! Really!? All this strategizing and preparation for a fight to end so suddenly with Cian almost getting a fatal blow but then him getting the fatal blow soon after? Didn't seem realistic at all (then again it is a paranormal/romance fiction). I kind of predicted that Cian would become human again, which was a whoo-hoo in my book! The old man telling the story, I figured was one of the 3 males in the circle, but I really thought it was Hoyt not Cian! So kudos to Roberts for that small surprise!
I would say the trilogy itself would have an avg. of 3 stars overall but this was a good book! I would recommend it!
