3 half fairy sisters are low level agents working for the otherworld agency, stationed on earth to guard the portal between earth and fairy. This book is told from the 1st person POV of Camille, a rather incompetent witch. The other sisters are Delilah, who transforms into a tabby cat during the full moon and whenever she is stressed, and Menolly a new vampire. The plot involves some demons trying to take over both earth and otherworld (fairy).

I liked the concept of the book, but was somewhat disappointed with how it turned out. I did not really like the main character that much. I don't really like the plot device where the main character's powers fail or misfire at all the wrong moments. There was not a great deal of romance in it (which is a good thing as far as I,m concerned). I forgot most of the book pretty much as soon as I read it. I intend to try the next one in the series, since I already own it.
