It's a really great book. Totally different than the movie. No "It's alive!" moment or anything like that. What is so powerful about this book is that the monster feels deeply, and only wants to be loved. There are no easy answers in this book, and there is no villain. Only a man and his creation making terrible choices.

65.0% "Chapter 19 or 20. The part where he goes to England with Clerval. I really love this book. It helped that I just got finished being involved with the stage version. This will be the first fiction book I've read since "Between the Bridge and the River" almost a year ago. Wow, I'm terrible."
