really liked it

I have enjoyed everything that Mary Roach has written to date. She takes interesting topics, then finds the oddest aspects of them, does an amazing amount of research, and collects it all for your reading pleasure. I was very happy when I learned that her latest book was about space exploration, a topic I find infinitely fascinating.

Welcome to the Space Race as only Roach could present it. Here you will find masturbating monkeys, scientific research on how long people can go without bathing, and the, um, ins and outs of sex in zero G. Definitely not for the squeamish. There were parts that made me glad I was wearing headphones so no one else could hear and parts that made me laugh out loud. They were often the same parts.
