** spoiler alert ** Very suspenseful, in that I kept waiting for there to be a plot.
Angeline has just graduated from high school, and meets Jack a local boy. They start dating and fall in love, then he moves and she goes away to college.

And really - that's it. I kept thinking "wait maybe the drama will be *this*" : a kiss, a break-up, her sister's failed romance, but no, it's all just the same hopeful, teen-agey prose. And so hopelessly dated - Angie is naive and out-of-touch even compared to kids her own age in the same book. I can't imagien any teen could relate to this book now.
