The first in the Charlie Hood trilogy, which I unfortunately started with book 3. So far the best plotline, although slightly far-fetched. Like the other two books in this brief (so far) series, it is told in a mixture of first and third person narrative. The timeline in this book is straight, unlike the other two, where much is told in flash-back.

Wow, some scenes in this book were just amazing...very creative action scenes. I knew some key details from having read the third book first, then the second, but that did not lessen the impact. This one was impossible to put down, and I read it in basically four days of commuting and a few lunch breaks. Might have to look for more of his work...
