I inherited this book from my grandmother. Along with other books of hers it has sat on the shelf waiting. I began reading This Rough Magic wanting to learn a little more about my Nan, Mary Stewart was one of her favorite writers and I could just imagine my Nan enjoying the lovely descriptions of Corfu and Greek landscape.
This book is very unlike books I would usually pick for myself to read but I did enjoy it. Stewart has a warm writing voice. It isn't going to reach any top 10 lists for me but it is a nice light summer read. Certainly one for the ladys :)
