it was amazing
Recommended for: everyone...especially my younger LGBT 'sisters and brothers'

I read this book when I was 10 and a half. i don't remember why i picked it up, but it was new and scary and somehow strangely comforting to me. up until that point, g b l and t were simply letters of the alphabet. gay was a word my friends used for something that was lame or stupid, and i never even knew that there might be other people who felt the way i did.

there are many touching stories in this book... some really well written, some not. my favorite one is the 'title story'... i don't want to totally ruin it, but it sort of explained in a kid friendly way that there are variations of how people feel, and that there are varying degrees of people's sexuality. being 100% straight or 100% gay are not the only two options out there for folks.
