it was amazing
Read from August 13 to 16, 2010

I finally read this book after failed attempts at the audiobook and the movie. And I am so glad I did. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is extremely entertaining, funny, interesting, poignant, unconventional, and thought-provoking all at the same time. Douglas Adams' humor is very subtle when it needs to be. The plot moves along at a perfect pace. The dialogue between the characters is so original and funny, but not always ha-ha funny. Marvin, the robot, is such a great character- "Life, don't talk to me about life." The babel fish and its impact on philosophers in the book is great too.

Mark I've been meaning to read this book ever since seeing the movie in theater. I'm putting this on my list of reads for 2013.
