** spoiler alert ** Stephanie Plum's bounty hunting once again makes me laugh out loud. In this one, Diesel is introduced into the series (good looking & mysterious like the other two men in Steph's life). It seems we will now have characters with special abilities. Grandma Mazur has a studmuffin & Stephanie's sister, Valerie, is pregnant by her Jewish lawer boyfriend, Kloughn, who can't seem to find enough business to move out of his mother's home. Grandma's teeth go missing & are finally discovered decorated (by her grandchild) & in a stuffed dinosaur Grandma had won. Grandma continues her socializing at the funeral home. Valerie's child, Mary Alice, doesn't believe in Santa Claus anymore, and you think she never will when a fire burns down the family's Christmas tree nad presents. Diesel, Sandy Claws (Steph's latest bounty hunter perp) and a whole group of elves (little people) save the day. Morelli gives Stephanie a friendship ring for Christmas noting that the engagement ring didn't seem to work in the past. So, now on to the next adventure to see when Diesel will show up again & if he'll be competition for Morelli.
