Exceptionally good horror story. Every horror / supernatural author or aspiring author who hasn't read it should. The story and characters is so simple and the pace so perfect that real strength of the story, the real and psychological atmosphere develops perfectly. There is a bit of clumsy exposition towards the end, but I think that stood out so much partially because of the overall clarity of the story. And interestingly enough, I wonder if it is really necessary. It's a short piece - probably two hours sustained reading - and well worth it.
