Read from August 04 to 09, 2010

A friend left this book behind and I started it as a commemoration to the 96th anniversary of the beginning WWI. It is a historical novel set in England in the summer of 1914. It reads with suspense and has a sequel. There are very interesting historical facts strewn throughout, such as who won Wimbledon that year. However it gets repetitive with detective questions and tedious with details, slow on pace, and a bit disappointing on closure.
