really liked it
bookshelves: 2011, age-ya, werewolves
Read from July 21 to 26, 2011

The tables have turned, and now Sam the human waits for Grace the wolf. Cole, who Beck left in charge of the pack, has been trying various "cures" for the werewolf virus. Isabel won't speak to him until she discovers that her father has organized a helicopter hunt so he can exterminate the pack. Olivia's death is being blamed on the wolves, or on Sam, since she was found in his backyard.

There is more plot in Forever than there was in Linger, but I didn't feel barrelled along by the story. I enjoyed basking in the beautiful writing and lingering in Sam and Grace's relationship, and trying to figure out what Cole was up to. The dynamics of the pack - with Shelby in particular - were interesting. This was a great conclusion to the trilogy.
