Picked this up in Left Bank books in Seattle which is a great little bookstore off Pike market. The book is about the outdoors and logging industry in British Columbia which were topical and interesting. When you finish the book you feel like you've learned a lot and got an intimate view of a way of life far removed from typical city/suburban life, however you come away with just at many questions regarding the principle character of Grant Hadwin. Was he really trying to make a poor point, mentally ill and off his meds, or just disenfranchised and upset with the world and his inability to change it? Then further questions as to whether he intended to appear at his trial or not, and if he really died or not?

A very interesting outdoors read. Perfect for a summer camping trip or vacation in the outdoors.
