** spoiler alert ** I didn't like this one as much. Alanna became grumpy and just moped about feeling sorry for herself, or going against whatever anyone wanted her to do. She didn't want to marry Jon, but apparently still loved him and expected him to stay with her despite her rejecting his offer. I realize he wasn't being too kind either, but still. Also, the ending wasn't as dramatic and fulfilling as the other two. Still a decent book, but I was a little disappointed. Sadly I don't have the fourth one so I'll have to wait until I can get it to finish the series.
