really liked it

Two old folks and two orphans spend time together one summer, and everyone finds a new perspective. A sweet little story. The bad guy is kind of bumbly, like the bad guys in the old Disney movies. Two things this book taught me: Mistakes can be handled in a redemptive way, and there's nothing that says comfort like welcome-home bacon.
